Thank you to everyone who came out and walked with us on Saturday, June 7th.  We braved the heat and found that our new venue at Springbank Gardens was shaded with trees and a breeze off the river made the walk enjoyable.

Through the generous contributions of our corporate sponsors and the monies raised by individual walkers, we raised over $16,000 for MADD London.

The money raised will help us fund vital education programs and awareness campaigns in our local community, including our ongoing roadside signage project and sponsorship of RIDE sobriety checks.  Because of the participation of our supporters, we can once again offer MADD Canada’s multimedia school assembly presentation to ten local high schools.  We can also continue to provide free services and support to local victims of impaired driving and their families.  Together we can make a difference.

ADDITIONAL SPONSORS

This walk could not be as successful as it is without the help of our corporate sponsors.  Their partnership with MADD London Chapter allows us to continue our mission in the city of London and the surrounding area.  We acknowledge their special contributions and thank them for continuing to support our Chapter.
