Our Mission: To stop impaired driving
and to support victims of this violent crime

Gail Beck, May 25, 1960 - November 1, 2003

Gail Beck, my only child, was in a horrendous crash and her life ended as a result of being a passenger in a car being driven by an impaired driver.  I am now very much alone in the world, as I was widowed a number of years ago.

A year before Gail was killed, I was diagnosed with bone cancer.  I thought that no matter how bad my illness got, Gail would be there to see me through.  Now, I must deal with my declining health and whatever else life throws at me.  I will not have her guidance, her care, and her companionship.

She also leaves two daughters who have been robbed of their mother.  Gail was only 43 years old.  Never a day goes by that I do not think of my wonderful daughter and how much I miss her!  I am still a mother, but I no longer have a daughter.  I am left with a huge hole in my life.

No parent ever expects to outlive their child.

Sincerely,

Dorothy.
