Catherine Newton, March 1 , 1977 - August 24, 1997
 Catherine was just 20 years old when she was struck and killed by a drunk driver. The driver went through a red light and struck her on the pedestrian crosswalk. His BAC was two and a half times the legal limit.
Catherine was a beautiful young woman with a wonderful future ahead of her.  She had just completed her 1st year of university where she was an A+ student. Her goal was to become a physiotherapist working with children. Catherine loved children and dreamed of having a family of her own someday. She would have made a wonderful mother but all of her hopes and dreams were taken away from her by the impaired driver. Her quick wit, infectious smile and fun-loving personality endeared her not only to her family but to everyone who knew her. To know Catherine was to love her as her many friends will attest to.
Life will never be the same without you, Catherine, but we will hold you in our hearts until we meet again.
