and to support victims of this violent crime

MADD Public Awareness Program

Public Awareness Campaigns

As part of our commitment to MADD Canada's goals, MADD London Chapter members and volunteers are active in the community to heighten awareness about the dangers of impaired driving.

One such initiative is our road side signage project. We currently have four signs posted in London and one on Wonderland Road north of the city.

Now, more than ever, it is critical that we convey this message to our neighbours. Every day, on average, just under 4 Canadians are killed and almost 187 more are injured in alcohol and drug related crashes.

Transit Advertising Campaigns

MADD London's last transit ad centred around the Campaign 911 project. We encourage drivers to report suspected impaired drivers; by doing so they will be making the roads safer for all of us. The ad ran until the first week in March.

Last year for our annual Strides for Change Walkathon we designed a transit ad to raise awareness about the walk and about the dangers of impaired driving. We have a good partnership with Lamar Advertising here in London and they are always eager to work with us to develop new ideas.
